Hi Everyone,
I have been a CFS/Fibromyalgia sufferer since 1997. It was this and in particular, the frustration of being a guinea pig to conventional medicine with no results that led me to studying alternative healing and I am soon to be in my final year of Traditional Chinese Medicine at the University of Technology, Sydney.
As part of my final year practice I need to "specialise" in an area of knowledge, so obviously I want to hone my skills and get as much experience in treating CFS/Fibromylagia cases as possible!
Hi,
Has anyone heard of this program in Melbourne-Chronic fatigue syndrome recovery program or a program at Austin Hospital for kids 10-18 years?
Hey everyone;
I found this article about some research and testing conducted on the spinal fluid on those with CFS. It gives some hope that there maybe a significant physical marker which would definitely give the illness some credibility - because it can be seen. http://www.pubmedcentral.nih.gov/articlerender.fcgi?artid=540195
I think based on this research (and no doubt other research) Georgetown University in the USA is recruiting more participants for a larger scale study. It is a pity it is not being done in Australia.
