Never Assume!
In the early 1990's the surge in superannuation entitlements under the Superannuation Guarantee legislation also brought with it an increase in employees who had access to Superannuation Disability Insurance. The problem is, people forget that it exists, or believe that it does not apply to them.

You may well be very wrong. Do not assume that you are not entitled.

What Insurances Are There?

Telling other people that you have ME/CFS is not always easy. Because there are still people who do not accept that this is an organic illness, there remains considerable scepticism in some quarters and disparaging terms like "yuppie flu" are still used. With increased awareness and education, this situation is changing, but knowing who, when and what to tell other people can present a problem.
