This is a NEW group that is still in the process of gathering members.

A message from April:
Hi everyone,
I'd like to welcome anyone to the Newcastle support group. A bit of background info for myself and the group - My name is April and I am 19 years old. I got ME/CFS from an inner ear visurs when I was 14. I moved to Lake Macquarie (just south of Newcastle) in June 2008, and have found the illness even more isolating because I'm removed from my friends and the community I knew, in Sydney. I started the group for myself and others to meet and share their experiences with others who understand and care.
The group has two categories, Young Adults and Mature. We are mainly a social group who meet for lunch or coffee, and I hope to get the group out to places such as the movies or for a picnic. Anything that we can manage.
