When I crash... (56k Warning)

...and it happens more often than I'll admit, I try to do something that I would normally decide was not important enough to spend energy on.

My weakness? Beading Smiling I bet you've all seen in the journal this month about taking up a new hobby, and Jana's bead kits, well, its very addictive! Approach with caution Sticking out tongue

I started beading when I was 17, as a means of embellishing a piece of leatherwork for D&T (TAS - Leatherwork at SSDEC) and I haven't looked back. That piece of leatherwork never even saw a bead!

Here are a few things that I have done this last week. It makes my eyes sore if I do it for too long without glasses, so I do it in stages Smiling

I too, am addicted to beading.....I need someone to keep me away from Spotlight, and now Lincraft too, especially with sales on beads!!!
I don't have any pics on my computer of anything I've done (I sooo need a scanner! or a digital camera!!)
Besides, my stuff isn't anywhere near as good looking as yours, Abbey!!! Smiling
I hope to someday be much better at beading!!!

I used to do beading when i was in high school but i haven't made anything for years. I don't have the patience anymore lol. Your work looks good Abbey Laughing out loud

I love to do beading too..thou the only thing Ive made this year with beads was a little lizard or tortise (with my poor memory I cant remember now which it is without going to look). Its a pity i dont have a scanner as I would of loved to have shown it.
