Artworks, photographs and poetry created by people with ME/CFS will be exhibited at Waverley Library, Bondi Junction, for a two week period starting May 11 to mark ME/CFS Awareness Week. Read this story or see www.cfsart.org for full details.
The exhibition will be launched on ME/CFS Awareness Day, 12 May 2009, at 6pm. Leigh Hatcher, ME/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Society of NSW Inc patron, and Kirrily Anderson, author of Creative for a Second: creative works by people living with CFS/ME, will speak at the launch. Entry to the exhibition and the launch is free.
After the exhibition in Waverley Library, the exhibition will tour libraries around Sydney and NSW, visiting Wollongong Central Library, Wallsend District Library (Newcastle), Hastings Community Library (Laurieton), Richmond-Tweed Regional Library (Tweed Heads) and Kings Cross Library (to be confirmed).
