Unfornately, the tele-support group will not opperate for a few months due to personal commitments of the organiser. This page will be updated with new information once the group begins to meet again

The Skype based Tele - Support Group is in a pilot phase. It was set up with the ambition of reaching people with ME/CFS and FM who are isolated due to being housebound or who are unable to access other support groups.

The emphasis will be on supporting a positive frame of mind, by identifying and celebrating achievements or offering experiences of how other people dealt with similar issues. Discussions of the medical origins of CFS are not planned to occur more than once a month.

The Tele- Support Group is not a counselling telephone line. Like all other ME/CFS and FM support groups affiliated with the Society it is run by a volunteer.
