New member Searching For a Fibromyalgia Specialist in NSW

Hi Everyone Smiling
I've been undiagnosed for almost 4 years now, my research has some how lead me to think perhaps I should be tested for Fibromyalgia . I just need to find a specialist.
If anyone can guide me in the right direction, or know of a Fibromyalgia Doctor close to Sydney NSW that would be fantasic.
This forum has been a valuable resource in my ongoing search for help. I can relate to sorry many of the posts here its scary.

Anyway I look forward to learning more about this awful disease, and hope I can maybe help others suffering chronic undiagnosed pain

Hi Samantha
I have been writing in this forum for a couple of weeks now and this is the first time I have gone to page 2 of the site.
I was sad to see that nobody had replied to you.
I have had FMS for two and half years.
I live near Shellharbour In the Illawarra on the South Coast NSW. I dont know of any DR's in Sydney, but I see a pain management specialist in Port Kembla Hospital. He knows alot about FMS, does lectures and attends support groups etc. The Dr's name is Guy Bashford. I know he works from Thirroul Private Hospital as well.

My GP is also well informed on the disease.
If you have any other questions feel free to ask, I get the site every 2 or 3 days.
