7 types of CFS

I noticed that on this site there was a news item about a study that claimed that there were 7 different types of CFS, and that they were linked to genetic markers. The link is here.
Thing is, I don't actually think I fit well into any of the 7 categories, even when I was most unwell.
What do you guys reckon, can you see yourselves in one of the categories?

Hey Amy

I haven't had a chance to look at the link, but I know that Dr S (erm, probably shouldn't give the rest of his name) but he's the doc who gave the seminar in '06.
Anyway, he lists 6 types of CFS, and looking at all them, I think I fit into more than one, or that I don't fit into any of them, one way or the other..... aargh..... brain fog.... a real 'pea souper'!!!
Can't remember if there's any copies floating around of the seminar handout....

The St George CFS study

The St George's study looked at 55 patients from the US and UK. This is a very small sample compared with the vast numbers of sufferers. Hope this spurs them on to do further research.
The extract that you linked to didn't fit me into their categories very well either.
Many thanks for the news on this research.
