I would love to have one of those day-beds. I just love the concept of it - a bed for resting in during the day, it gives you permission to sleep during the day. I'd like to replace my mouldy old couch on the back veranda with one (but I'm dreaming, can't afford one at the moment).

Day beds on freecycle?

I'm right there with you, I want one too. Permission to nap is pretty much written into the item description, I think it is perfect. My favourite part is that you have a bed for sleeping in (ye olde regular nighttime bed) and a bright and cheery bed for being snoozy in. It is like changing into daytime clothes after a week in the same pair of PJs (*cough* not that I've ever done that, of course... Eye-wink)

Have you looked at Freecycle for one? Not sure you could get a snazzy one, but you might get lucky Eye-wink The only problem is that usually you have to pick up, but I think if you waggled some beer or the promise of pizza in front of a mate with a ute and some muscles, you could be set. Definitely worth a shot. At the very least you should be able to find a comfy un-mouldy couch for daytime napping Smiling
