Energy Rebates
The Energy Rebate increased from $130 to $145 per year on 1 July 2010. There will be a further increase to $161 from 1 July 2011 for electricity accounts (check gas also) in their name and hold a Health Care Card. There is also a $161 for eligible people who have a medically diagnosed inability to self-regulate body temperature when exposed to extremes of hot and cold. ME/CFS/FM people please check this with your electricity supplier.
