Happy New Year!

We would like to wish everyone a very happy new year and let you know some news from the office...

The office reopened for business yesterday (Monday 11 January), and will be open at the following times during January and February:

9am to 5pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
10am to 6pm Thursday
Closed Friday.

All website registration requests that were made after 19 December have been approved this morning. I apologise for the delay over the break in accepting these. If you registered for a website account but haven't received a confirmation email, please email me at webmaster@me-cfs.org.au to sort it out.

Many of the artworks being exhibited at the Creative for a Second Art Tour are available for sale at very reasonable prices. Twenty per cent of the cost will benefit the Society. For more information visit www.cfsart.org and click on "artworks" or download the sales flyer.

Proposed Australian Disability Parking Scheme

The proposed Australian Disability Parking Scheme seeks to harmonise various state and local level disability parking arrangements at a federal level. The Society believes that while harmonisation of different schemes into one scheme is a positive move, there are several disadvantages to the proposal for people with invisible illnesses or disabilities such as ME/CFS.

Awareness Week Event: ‘Creative for a Second’ Art Tour

Artworks, photographs and poetry created by people with ME/CFS will be exhibited at Waverley Library, Bondi Junction, for a two week period starting May 11 to mark ME/CFS Awareness Week. Read this story or see www.cfsart.org for full details.
